The EIT5002 IP Phone provides voice communication over an IP network using the SIP protocol. It functions much like a traditional analog telephone, allowing you to place and receive phone calls and to access features such as mute, hold, forward, transfer, speed dial. In addition, because the phone is connected to network, it offers enhanced IP telephony features, including access to network information and customizable features.

EIT5002 ensures inter-operation among different vender. EIT5002 VoIP Telephone also supports several Codec standard, including G.711A/ law, G.722, G723.1, G729A. Users are able to set preferred sequence for their environment.
